Sepideh Kittleson

Sepideh Kittleson MSW, LSWAIC

(she/her)

Sepideh received her Master of Social Work from the University of Washington. She completed her first internship at UW’s Center on Human Development and Disability working with neurodivergent children and their families in their diagnostic journey. Her second internship was completed at Holistic Child and Family Practice. She is excited to return to HCFP as an associate.

Prior to therapy, Sepideh was in the field of neuroscience research and subsequently a project manager at a clinical trials center. After having children, she decided to go back to school to obtain her MSW to become a therapist and be able to support other parents and children who don’t fit the neurotypical mold. She is skilled at forming relationships with families across diverse cultures and religious backgrounds and has enjoyed supporting families in crisis.

Sepideh’s approach to therapy is relational, strength-based, person-centered and neurodiversity-affirming. She utilizes attachment theory, schema theory, IFS, and somatic therapies, and she trained through Brainspotting Phase II, which centers around processing trauma and feelings that are stored in the body. She believes in a cooperative and collective approach in therapy and strives to promote an ethnically and culturally diverse and safe environment where clients feel safe to explore and process their difficult memories and feel supported and empowered to be the expert of their own lived experiences.

Outside of work, Sepideh enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on nature hikes, baking and trying new food.
